Mario originates from ZAMORA a small town near the Portugese border. He has spent 14 years in the Yachting Industry , and has worked on various types of Yachts  - Sailing - Catamarans  - and Motor Yachts. 

Before starting his life as a captain Mario was Car Mechanic, which has helped him greatly to  understand the inside workings of the Yachts engines!

Mario has crossed the Atlantic in a sail boat and has spent two seasons working in the Carribean. 

When Mario is not working he enjoys Globe Trotting , travelling and visiting new places, climbing , and snowboarding. 

You will feel like you are in very good hands aboard Remedy ! 

I’m originally from León, in nothern Spain, and i’ve a special connection to Ibiza for over 20 years, a place that  has always felt like a second home to me. I spent nearly 18 years working in the hospitality industry and in costumer-facing roles, were i developed a strong sense of service, organization and attention to detail.

My passion for the sea and nature led me to take a new proffesional path and start working as a deckhand, a role that alows me to combine my costumer service experience with my love for life on the water. I love traveling, the outdoors and the world of motorsports and i’m happy to share my energy and commintment everyday with those who trust us to enjoy the sea.
